Super Imitation of Actions


It is an interactive gaming system in public space, which aims at driving the 3D avatar in virtual world playing the basket-ball by imitating the actions of players in real world. It employs five cameras to recognize and recover the 3D motions of the player from a mocap database in terms of multi-view contours, and then make the 3D avatars in the virtual world perform the recovered basketball-playing motion in the same way.

Super imitation of actions is installed National Museum of Science and Technology in China.
